Living our Values enables us to deliver Excellent Customer Service
People are the most important part of our business; we deliver on our objectives by living our values. We give our people the right environment, role and tools to deliver excellence and quality in everything we do.
Bibby HydroMap operates a sustainable business that respects communities, environment, and our employees. As part of the Bibby Line Group we are committed to the highest standards of integrity, honesty and ethical business practices.
Giving Something Back
The Giving Something Back (GSB) programme is a unique initiative which underpins our values and aims to harness the passion of our people, supporting them to fundraise or volunteer for the charities they choose.
The programme was established after the success of employee giving during celebrations for our Bicentenary year in 2007. Pound for pound match funding is available, along with opportunities to volunteer on community projects both here in the UK and abroad. Further responsible activities include, payroll giving, cycle to work and managing our environmental impact.
Since 2007, Bibby Line Group and its employees have donated over £9.3 million to over 1,000 charitable causes. These causes are those closest to our employees and their families, as we believe 'what is important to them as individuals is what is important to us as a business.
Bibby HydroMap have a longstanding tradition of raising funds and awareness for a long list of charities by organising events including bake sales, sports competitions, and frequent raffles, as well as an ongoing tuck shop with the proceeds going to charity and an annual Christmas jumper day.
Individual members of staff also participate in difficult challenges such as cycling hundreds of kilometres, participating in triathlons and the Tough Mudder challenge with the proceeds being matched by Bibby Line Group and being donated to their chosen charity.
Each year, some of our staff also take part in annual UK-based and international events organised by Bibby Line Group, raising large amounts of money in the process. Events organised in the past include: treks in Cuba and India, through the foothills of the Himalayas and treks closer to home including the 3 peaks challenge in Yorkshire and the South Downs.
