Bibby HydroMap supporting Wirral Community Narrowboat Trust

Since the start of 2019 Bibby HydroMap has helped raised £1200 for Wirral Community Narrowboat Trust through a variety of charity fundraising events, including raffles and the office charity tuckshop.

Wirral Community Narrowboat Trust have been in operation for over 30 years providing canal trips for the elderly, disabled, special needs, youth and community groups giving them the opportunity to experience the amazing countryside via the Cheshire and Shropshire canal waterways.

Michelle Reaney, from Bibby HydroMap's IT team, presented the cheque to the Wirral Community Narrowboat Trust team.

Giving Something Back

The Giving Something Back (GSB) programme is a unique initiative which underpins our values and aims to harness the passion of our people, supporting them to fundraise or volunteer for the charities they choose.

The Narrowboats have been built to specific requirements to provide amenities suitable for the needs of disabled users. They have a couple of boats that provide a mix of suitability for Day use and for Residential cruises.  They have four departure points giving a wide option of locations depending on where people are based.

All Wirral Community Narrowboat Trust members and Trustees are volunteers, so any trips booked 100% of the donations will be used to help with the upkeep of the boats and keep the charity running.

Bibby HydroMap are proud to be able to give something back to help a great local charity.
