Bibby HydroMap welcomes a new HSE Manager

Bibby HydroMap are pleased to welcome Alan Grand as our new HSE Manager. A Chartered Member of IOSH, Alan has extensive experience in Health & Safety working environments and benefits from a range of qualifications including GWO Manual Handling, working at Height, Fire Awareness, Sea Survival, First Aid and Confined Space working, amongst other courses.  

Skills which Alan can bring to the role are conducting pre commencement meeting/site visits to create project plans and packs for staff onshore and offshore for commissioning of wind turbines, additionally installations of land-based cranes and davits. Alan is also experienced in designing and creating RAMS for onshore and offshore projects.  

On starting his new role Alan said “I have been working as an HSE Manager for a contractor in the offshore renewables industry for the previous 3 and a half years. I am delighted to have this opportunity to work for Bibby HydroMap and their team of experts, I look forward to becoming involved with the company and all their activities and to the future with Bibby HydroMap.” 

This follows the recent news that Bibby HydroMap migrated their health and safety management system from OHSAS18001 to ISO45001, ahead of the March 2021 deadline.
