The hull and superstructure is currently being built in St Malo and in October the complete shell will be towed up the coast to Boulogne. All of the main equipment is now on order, including permanently installed survey sensors. TETHRA is due for delivery early April 2011 and will go straight to work in the UK Renewable Energy market. TETHRA will provide an unparalleled capability in coastal survey, bringing large vessel stability, Dynamic Positioning (DP1), diesel electric economy, ultra high resolution survey sensors, all round efficiency, and very comfortable working environment and small port accessibility together in a single package.
