Bibby HydroMap are delighted to welcome Gary Fenwick to the company as HSE Manager. Gary has a solid 18 years of HSE expertise working in the petrochemical and marine industry.
Gary brings with him a wealth of experience in the development and implementation QHSE improvement plans, initiatives and achieving strategic performance goals and objectives; with a key focus on resolving HSE concerns and issues with appropriate strategies and processes in place to mitigate risk now and into the future.
Gary will be responsible for the HSE department and for all our HSE compliance with industry best practice within Bibby HydroMap for all our assigned vessels and on-shore premises.
Gary’s main focus areas will be:
- Develop and grow the safety management system ensuring it is in line with the company’s core values and objectives and current legislation.
- To take Health, Safety and Environmental cultures to the next level within the business.
- To support the company’s commitment to improving its sustainability and environmental awareness standards.
- Enhancing the company’s ability to establish and maintain a transparent, safe and secure workplace with a positive QHSE culture.
Outside the work environment, Gary was a keen angler back home in South Africa and is an enthusiastic supporter of international rugby, both England and South Africa. When he’s not studying for his final year of a degree in Disaster & Safety Management, he enjoys spending time with his family.
