UK-based seabed survey company Bibby HydroMap has today announced that their transition from OHSAS18001:2007 to ISO45001:2018 will be completed during 2019, ahead of the March 2021 deadline.
Demonstrating the company’s commitment to health and safety leadership, Bibby HydroMap has successfully passed the ISO45001:2018 audit and will migrate across to the new standard before the end of the year. ISO45001 places a greater emphasis on top management in terms of promoting leadership, commitment and encouraging a positive occupational health and safety culture within the organisation. Additionally, in recent weeks the company scored almost perfect marks during a recent Achilles UVDB Verify B2 audit of 100% for Company Social Responsibilities, Quality and Environment and 99% for Health and Safety.
QHSE/Marine Superintendent Andy Henderson comments:
“These achievements are indicative of our outstanding health and safety culture within the business and we are delighted to be recognised appropriately. The transition to ISO45001 puts the company in an ideal position to further leverage and reinforce our message to employees, clients, suppliers and other stakeholders.”
